«Izhavia» JSC is the basic carrier of the Izhevsk Airport and the only official airline in Privolzhsky Federal District. For the purpose of customer care, Izhavia opened a VIP lounge at the airport where the passengers can wait for their flight in comfort and in private, created a greater variety of products on board the aircraft.
To ensure a handy payment by bank card in a cloud store, the carrier contacted MST company that introduced JoinPAY payment service within the record-short time. «Such a short time of implementation of this service was achieved thanks to our air industry-proven payment technology solution», said Maxim Bornovolokov, CEO of MST company. «JoinPAY may be configured for any type of carriages including air carriages, which is why the payment acceptance does not require installation of any specialized and expensive equipment designed for a specific type of aircraft and certified by the manufacturer».
The payment service works in offline mode on board. The equipment accumulates payments made during the flight and uploads and processes them upon arrival. The software covers the scenario when a passenger has no required funds available on the bank card. In such a case, several attempts of debiting will be made, following which the system blacklists the card until the debt to the airline is paid.
In addition, Izhavia Airline has obtained access to the cloud account with wide functionality. All banking transactions are recorded there, it has a wide range of analytical reports, passenger’s personal account integrated into the common infrastructure of the company, automatic definitive authorization of the unsuccessful transactions and many other options.
